My name is Pete Silver Gillespie and I am founder of Alpinecoaching private guiding and ski
courses . I have been a professional snowsports instructor, coach and snowsports leader for over 33 years and have a passion for introducing new Snowsports experiences and developing my guests performance.

My real passion is developing all mountain and off piste skiing skills with my guests. I love getting away from the crowds in to the natural mountain terrain and discovering
new experiences.
As an off piste instructor / leader I focus on developing the skills to unlock greater freedom in a wide variety of terrain and snow conditions. The terrain
we ski is generally accessed by ski lift, traversing, bootpacking or skinning (without the use of Alpinism equipment).
I have been involved in the education of Snowsport instructors for many years ( BASI, IASI, Snowsport England and Snowsport Scotland) and represented IASI (Ireland) at 3 World congresses - January 2011 St Anton, Austria, September 2015 Ushuaia Argentina and 2019 Pamporovo Bulgaria.
AUSTRIAN REGISTRATION
Our courses are officially registered in the province of Tirol, Austria annually where we are legally permitted to teach, coach and lead as part of an agreed EU framework. Our team are also registered in Tirol with their professional
qualifications ( Diplom schilehrer / Landeschilehrer).
