Ali Smith

 Ali Smith has been a career ski teacher for over 25 years working in Europe and the southern hemisphere. Beginning with seasons in Tirol, Austria Ali soon found himself working back to back winters between Austria and Australia. During this time experience was gained taking qualifications both with BASI and the Australian professional ski instructors association. In recent years he has gained recognition as a trainer for BASI and Snowsport Scotland running instructor training and leadership courses. In addition to this Ali was the head of snowsports at Snozone Milton Keynes between 2005 and 2011.

Ali is now a very active Educator with IASI and runs his own program www.skidefinition.com

• IASI Alpine Educator

• Swiss Full certified Snow pro

• Snowsport Scotland tutor

• snowboard instructor (second discipline)

• ISIA off piste and mountain safety award

• European off piste security EMS

• Member of International ski instructors association ISIA

• Member of International federation snowsport instructors IFSI
